The Droid icons are smooth, simple to identitfy and tend to convey what they mean in a comparatively nice show that allows for ease in comprehensionIt used to be, you had three to five icons on your mobile telephone to tell you everything that is taking place with your cellular world. These days there is plenitude of icons, and at the forefront are the iPhone and the Verizon Droid. Now you can see not only voicemail as an icon, but if you missed a call, if there's a call on hold, new voicemail or new e-mail message. You'll know if there's a problem with your SMS or MMS delivery, if there is new instant message, if info is syncing or if a song is playing on your phone. The Droid and the icons it has onboard reflect the new smartphone technology. If the ringer is off in silent mode or if the speakerphone is on - there is a separate icon for it. You can tell if there is a call on hold, if the call is forwarded or if there us a calling progress. It will also tell you if GPS is enabled and if it is working. The Droid icons are smooth, straightforward to identify and have a tendency to convey what they mean in a relatively nice show that allows for ease in comprehension. The Droid needs this level of icons because it does so much. It even has an aircraft mode where wireless services are mechanically set to off. All of these icons are show in the status bar on the pinnacle of the Droid. Naturally, you get the common icons, but there are icons for outstanding Notifications and Messages. This suggests that all of the calls, SMS messages and new e-mails are all shown in this section. They'll be there until you look after them. This is great for when you're away from your mobile phone. The Droid doesn't give audio reminders, but it is doing give you masses of icons and a green blinking light that may turn on the status bar so you can look after any pending actions that are shown by the varied icon notices. All that you need to do then is turn on your Droid and touch the explicit icon that fits with an action. You can then deal with it. For as cool as the Droid is, occasionally it must be rebooted. You can tell when this is happening when the see-through wheel icon starts spinning nonstop. You will need to use the Advance Task Killer if you have it, and can use it. There are various types icons for varied services and apps. Everything from apps to actions to take, Droid icons are easy to read and pretty clear cut.
