Role of Doctor in Alleviating the pain
The following piece of information will highlight few things about a doctor and his profession.As over all it is said that, doctor has angelic qualities that means, like angles pray day and night, and are considered special, similarly the doctors serve day and night to treat people, save their lives and thus like angles are considered special. It’s easy to be called doctor but fulfilling the responsibility of being a doctor is not that simple. The doctor has to sacrifice many things like sleep, sometimes even family life, in order to meet the professional needs and requirements.
After completing 5 to 6 years of studying medicine and house job, a doctor is authorized and licensed to practice. Some of them practice individually while some prefer to join hospital. A general doctor can do your regular check up, prescribe medicine or drugs and provide the necessary treatment according to your disease or illness. But many doctors, specialize further, so a doctor specializing in any field will be considered as specialist of that field such as the one specializing in eye is eye specialist, who specializes in heart is heart specialist, similarly if the doctor is specialized in skin is commonly known as skin specialist or dermatologist and the one specializing in teeth is known as dentist. Those who perform operations are known as surgeons mostly.
If, a doctor is really sincere and committed to his profession, he/she hardly finds time for themselves. Throughout the day and in night shifts, doctors’ remains busy in treating different patients, who come to them with this hope that they will be cured and treated well. Doctors need to be highly responsible and professional as well as efficient because this is what is expected form their profession.
It is generally said that, half of the pain or illness alleviates, the moment you see your doctor. This is because your trust on him/her is so strong that just visiting a doctor makes you feel better. Thus, a doctor should also respect the trust and should fulfill his duties and responsibilities in the best possible manner.
