The Role Of British Army, Which Protects The Citizens To The Greatest Level

Unlike the names of Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and Royal Marines, the British Army does not use the name of Royal with it. The reason behind this is that initially, raising the regiments and corps on individual basis formed this army.
Historically, the position of this army as the Army of Parliament and not the Army of Crown was given by the Bill of Rights, which was passed in the year of 1689. For many years, the nickname of a soldier of British Army is, Tommy Atkins. This army has been fighting many wars since it is formed. The British have been proud of their army, for they have seen it winning the wars. The performance of this army is commendable in the wars, which hare being fought against the terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq.
At times, it becomes difficult for the soldiers of an army to fight wars, far away from their countries, for on one hand they have to fight and on other hand they are away from their families and cannot meet them so often, but if you talk about the performance of British Army, then you will be surprised to know that they are determined and are highly committed. They have been representing their country in the best way and have been fighting with extreme passion, dedication and responsibility.
